Michael Urso, CPA/PFS, CFP®

Certified Public Accountant & Financial Advisor

Michael has worked in public accounting for over 40 years and he is not your typical CPA. He is a fun-loving, Hawaiian-shirt-wearing, straight shooter who likes working with families and businesses to reach their financial goals. His unique background in both tax and financial services is what helps Michael provide the individualized attention you deserve.

Due to his expertise, he is not only positioned to provide sound tax advice, but also to give strategic investment advice. He has helped countless clients with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and debt consultations, as well as retirement and estate planning.

Michael became an advisor to make a difference in people’s lives and, in turn, this became one of the most fulfilling experiences of his life. In getting to know Michael, you will find he cherishes his family and, given any opportunity, loves to talk about how proud he is of his daughters. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hunting, and admiring cars of all makes and models.

With a family motto of all in, you will feel as though you are not only an extension of this family, but that Michael, Lauren, and Shellie are all in on helping you achieve what is important to you.

Lauren Rahmeier

Lauren Rahmeier

Financial Advisor

Lauren has worked in finance for over 10 years, specifically in financial planning for the last three years. Her path to the financial services industry was a bit different than her parents, though. She actually started her career in finance with The Walt Disney Company. Although she enjoyed working for Disney, she felt like something was missing. You. Being able to help you. Being able to make a difference in your life.

So, Lauren moved back to New England with her husband, Jake, to pursue her dream of helping people in a place that always felt like home. She joins the firm with more than three years’ experience as a Financial Advisor helping numerous families and businesses reach their goals. While she is very proud of the accomplishments she made while at her prior firm, she is very excited for what is to come in this next adventure with her family.

Her approach to working with each and every client is understanding your goals and discovering ways she can help you reach those goals through tailored solutions and comprehensive financial strategies.

Similar to her dad, most would say work is Lauren’s hobby, but she also enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring with their dogs, renovating their historical home and making new memories with family and friends.

With a family motto of all in, you will feel as though you are not only an extension of this family, but that Michael, Lauren, and Shellie are all in on helping you achieve what is important to you.

Shellie Urso

Shellie Urso

Office Manager

Shellie first entered the financial services industry over 40 years ago and has worked with Michael for over 20 years. In working with Michael, Shellie gained a deeper knowledge of both the tax and financial services industries, helping take the client experience to a new level. While Shellie is a jack of all trades, her background in secretarial work and entrepreneurship really lent a hand in how she runs this office. Shellie manages everything from administrative duties to assisting clients with preparing for upcoming meetings and follow-ups as it relates to both taxes and financial planning.

To know Shellie, is to love her. She is vibrant, reliable, and really cares about the clients and the client experience. Clients know that they can call Shellie to get the answers to any questions they may have. If she does not have the answer, she will find it for you.

In Shellie’s free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family as well as traveling, knitting, and hosting parties.

With a family motto of all in, you will feel as though you are not only an extension of this family, but that Michael, Lauren, and Shellie are all in on helping you achieve what is important to you.
